Commis, Chef de Partie & Sous required - Amazing Tips - Richmond, Darlington

Our client, a busy food led gastropub that has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, is looking for motivated chefs to join their hardworking team. The pub`s focus is on an a la carte menu serving quality meals made from scratch using fresh local produce. The ideal candidates will have a passion for cooking and will benefit from being able to greatly develop their skills and knowledge helping to further their career as a chef. This role will see you working 5 days out of 7 on a split shift basis.

Along with a great salary, the successful candidates will benefit from an equal share of the tips. The venue is busy, caterering for 100 plus covers per service and as a result, last month each member of staff took home over £350 in tips.

Requirements for being a Chef 

- Passionate about cooking and developing your skills
- Excellent knife skills
- Experience with cooking fresh produce

Responsibilities as a Chef 

- Cooking to the high standards set out by the Head Chef
- Adhering to all health and safety and food hygiene polices
- Work efficiently as a team to ensure optimal service
