Digital Sales Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the digital team at a leading business in the heart of Norwich city centre.
Founded in 2000, my client provides unbiased, best buy charts to users on the best products in the market across both personal finance and insurance. They offer users aggregated best buy and comparison tables, compelling content and news based on whole of market data researched within the group.
My client is about to embark on significant digital changes to this part of the Group's business, so its an exciting time to be joining this team!
The candidate must be an experienced, all round b2b sales manager.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and articulate are just some of the personal attributes my client is seeking in the successful candidate.
The main objective of this role will be to increase income to the website through the following revenue streams:
- Working with existing partners to drive increased income
- Developing new brands to go live on the website
- Developing new opportunities on the website that will drive increased revenue
- Working with partners currently on the website to increase revenue
*Promote the benefits to secure new income through existing partners; maximising revenue opportunities and optimising campaign performance.
*A key part of the role will be to work with the client or agency to understand their media plans, campaign objectives and audiences they are seeking to target and upsell accordingly.
*Working on your own initiative, research and set up meetings with new brands that the website does not currently work with and secure commercials on the comparison tables.
*Upselling new advertising opportunities to the above partners based on each client's specific goals. This will include display and email activity.
*Work with the existing partnerships/white label partners on the website to increase traffic and conversion from these pages, working with the digital marketing manager to assist.
*Continually working with the rest of the team to maximise revenue opportunities across the website.
*Continually research and suggest to the Head of Digital new sales opportunities.
*Achieve personal sales revenue targets based on the above.
*Ensure accurate tracking of client's performance rates and related performance metrics for reporting purposes
*Once a month report income per partner to the Head of Digital and Financial Controller.
*B2B sales experience.
*Sales focussed but with the ability to also be consultative to partners
*An understanding of SEO, PPC, Conversation Rate Optimisation, Email Marketing & Social Media
*Independent worker with their own initiative and new ideas
*Experience of dealing with media agencies and/or affiliate networks.
*Experience of working in a digital sales role, ideally in financial services
*Results driven and numerate with solid Excel skills
*Commercially aware and customer focussed
*Used to hitting sales targets
