On behalf of our Client Arbour Resources are recruiting for a suitably qualified Operations Manager (F&B) to join team at this lovely country house hotel located close to Woodbridge / Suffolk

4* ~ 44 Bedrooms ~ 2 Rosette

The hotel offer secure employment working within a friendly and professional environment always looking to meet and exceed customer expectations

Restaurant - 60 Covers (2 Rosettes)

Brasserie Restaurant - 70 Covers

Conference & Banqueting to 150

Weddings - 50 PA

Within your role as Operations Manager (F&B) will be to uphold and oversee standards throughout but with particular emphasis on Food & Beverage areas

This is a Senior Position reporting directly to the GM and also requires Duty Management

You will certainly need to be a "Hands On - "Mein Host" - "On the Floor" Manager who leads the team by example and puts training, development & standards at the forefront whist having the skills and organizational qualities to keep the administration of the department in order

This is a new role due to growth and we are looking for a specific person who has that special "eye for detail" and can train and develop the team further, supported by effective procedures and quality standards / cost controls / sales involvement / Etc

Someone who can help grow the product with great new ideas / promotions / staff development / supplier reviews / customer feedback initiatives

Overseeing & Active with the following ~

Staff Training & Development ~ Structured

Staff Rotas & Wage Controls

Ordering - Stock Controls - Stocktakes

Forecasting & Achieving Budgetary Controls / GP

Maintain, review and install efficient working systems / procedures and keep departmental records "up to date"

Health, Safety & Hygiene - COSHH - HACCP Risk Assessments

Meeting & exceeding guest expectations at all opportunities

Duty Management

Direct Support of Sales & Marketing activity

Offering guests a visit to remember from the excellent standards offered throughout

Experience Required :

You will presently be in a similar role at a Senior Level, multi skilled, quality driven and your CV will need to show a stable Hotel career path that has taken you to the point where you can manage this role adeptly.

Possibly an existing F&B Manager / Deputy / Restaurant Manager looking for that next stage of your career

You will need multi area knowledge and skills and be a fantastic man manager able to multi task and oversee your departments with a calm and collected manner and work hands on as required
