Exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Marketing professional in their early career. Our Junior Marketing Assistant will take on a key role is supporting and guiding our Sunrise Senior Living Communities/Gracewell Healthcare Homes in their marketing plans. As a growing company we require candidates who are going to grow with us and are willing to roll your sleeves up and get involved.

Primary Responsibilities include:

* Supporting a range of marketing and communications tasks, such as managing email boxes, updating web content, coordinating photo shoots and assisting with community-specific requests.
* Help ensure accuracy and quality of marketing creative. Proofread copy for all external collateral
* Contribute to the development of Corporate Marketing & Communications team's public relations campaigns, marketing collateral, editorial calendar and online presence.
* Draft and edit copy for materials including external and internal announcements and marketing promotions.
* Work with the Marketing team to propose ideas and initiatives that help drive the organizations sales growth, including campaigns, competitions and promotions.
* Coordinate with outside agencies to create and execute on project plans meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
* Assist with invoicing and team administrative duties.

Experience Required:

* Ideally a Marketing Degree
* Some Marketing experience preferred
* Experience with copywriting and proof reading
* Ability to handle multiple priorities
* Excels in organisational, time management skills
* Effective communicator - both written and verbal
* Good relationship management skills
* Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment
* Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
* Possess excellent written skills and has a creative eye
* Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new applications
* Proven ability to work without daily supervision in an office environment
