Our client's vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Date Palm Project; an eight bed ex-offending service for Muslim young men who have recently been released from prison. We are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join and lead a small team of Project Workers and volunteers, to provide housing related support to the clients whom are currently vulnerable and homeless. You and the team will work towards maximising the individual potential of the clients, facilitating rapid assessment and their move-on into appropriate accommodation.

To succeed, you should have a good knowledge of the barriers that young ex-offenders face and be able to motivate and inspire clients to fulfil their potential and move away from chaotic lifestyle choices. You will also have experience in line management and be able to motivate a small team of staff, as well as overseeing all operational aspects of the service; such as Health and Safety and Budget Management. A good understanding of the Muslim faith is also relevant for this role.

Based in Willesden Green, you will be able to develop links within the community and work alongside commissioners to achieve positive outcomes for young people that live within the service.

In return, they offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and flexible working to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing their staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.

Closing date: 10.00am, 2 nd August 2017
