An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and creative Senior Marketing Executive to join the retail marketing team. The successful candidate will help to plan, organise and execute innovative marketing campaigns


• Planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns with support from the Marketing Manager in line with the event and project objectives
• Assisting with the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials relating to the portfolio
• Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails and brochures
• Maintaining and updating exhibition websites
• Using digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the business
• Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing a data build plan
• Continuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performance


• 2-3 years exhibition marketing experience
• Ideally in Retail or Trade but not essential
• A proven track record of implementing successful marketing communications campaigns
• Understanding of databases and segmentation techniques
• In-depth knowledge of both on and offline marketing
• Previous experience in a Marketing Executive role in a B2B exhibitions role
• Sound knowledge of digital marketing practices and channels such as Google Analytics, SEO, PPC and social media
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent copy writing skills
• Keen eye for design
• Enthusiastic & confident attitude with a problem-solving approach to tasks
• Highly creative and imaginative
• Highly organised and flexible
• Commercially minded and motivated to succeed
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills to interrogate data and draw conclusions
• Manage and maintain product websites, and contribute to their ongoing development
• Provide the Marketing Manager with on-going and comprehensive post-campaign reports and recommendations for future improvements
• Remain up-to-date with latest communications tools and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness
• Proven understanding of tracking and response reporting
• Project management, planning and organisational skills
• Attention to detail, strong copywriting, proofing and analytical skills.
• Data management and analysis
