Our client is a recognised expert in robotics and in support of continued strong growth, seeks to enhance its core team with the appointment of a Graduate Mechanical Engineer.

The company delivers services and bespoke products to clients across a range of industry sectors.

The successful Graduate Mechanical Engineer will work with a Senior Engineer in a small team and be expected to provide the following functions:-

* Creation of concepts for items requiring precision disassembly and assembly.
* Development of special purpose equipment designs from concept to system specification, detail design, manufacture, assembly and testing.
* Presentation of concepts and designs to clients.
* Participation in mechanical workshop activities.
* Specification, selection and supervision of manufacturing sub-contracts

The appointee will also participate in some marketing and business development activities with exposure to company clients.

The ideal Graduate Mechanical Engineer will possess the following qualifications and experience:

The following are minimum requirements for the role:-

* 2:1 or 1st Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Ability to make effective technical presentations.
* Ability to co-operate and work as a part of a small team.
* An excellent working knowledge of English.
