Due to company growth this international industry leading brand is now looking for an experienced and ambitious Area Sales Manager based out of their Central London Head Office. The ideal ASM needs to have a demonstrable track record of success ideally within advertising solutions directly to agency, alongside the energy, enthusiasm and creativity to succeed in a challenging yet rewarding sector. The Area Sales Manager would be confident with a strong leadership style and the ability to manage a multi-disciplined team of Direct Agency Business Development Managers working in an ever expanding digital and traditional advertising environment.

The perfect Area Sales Manager will have a several proven years' experience in a Direct Agency sales management role, ideally with a local or regional focus selling B2B advertising into direct media agencies. As an Area Sales Manager you will need to have a strong commercial focus and people skills with the ability to drive new business opportunities to achieve personal and team revenue targets.

Area Sales Manager daily duties:

You will be responsible for proactively leading a team of 3 direct agency Business Development Managers to achieve their target with a hands on approach to selling OOH advertising space directly to media agencies.

Your clients will range from large national agencies with complex needs, through to smaller boutique agencies purchasing local campaigns. You will support the development of all existing clients and maximise their value offering.

You will have a demonstrable track record of creating and growing new and untapped markets through reaching out to agency decision makers.

You will be familiar with working via a world-class sales process, reporting and sales operational systems.

You will be an inspirational and engaging leader able to motivate and coach teams to understand agencies structures, goals and advertiser plans. Media experience (print, radio, Out of home etc) is advantageous yet not essential.
