Vanbrugh Group are a Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy who recruit Senior Management staff for our clients.

We have been appointed by one of our clients, a High End Residential Refurbishment Contractor based in London, for a motivated and experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis.

Our client are an established and progressive Main Contractor who due to winning more contracts across West London, are looking to add a No1 Site Manager for one of their High Spec Residential refurbishment projects. The project has an estimated value of £1M and they require someone for an immediate start in July.

As Site Manager, you will closely work with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme and you will manage subcontractors and trade labours on site in addition to all technical aspects of the projects.

The key deliverable of this position is to ensure that all building contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards and within budget. This is a client facing role and it is the responsibility of the Site Manager to be the conduit between the client and the site teams.

Responsibilities:
To direct the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve both plot and project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
Maximise productivity and efficiency by monitoring organisation and methods.
Clear and concise communication in both verbal and written English.
Manage site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
You will have strong experience of working closely with customers offering excellent customer care while representing the company.

The Candidate:
Applicants must have proven experience working within the high end residential sector.
Applicants must have proven experience working on basement projects.
Applicants will have proven experience of managing all aspects of the build process as well as up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Experience working with both forms of contracts NEC and JCT
Hold valid certificates including SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
A full valid UK driving licence
Good career history to date in a permanent position

The salary is based on a permanent annual salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 + Package.

Our client is ideally looking to appoint a Site Manager with an immediate start for July 2017, however notice periods are taken into consideration as well as candidates seeking a sooner start.
