Civil Infrastructure Engineer - London

Due to a healthy forward workload, RGB are currently representing a leading Engineering Consultancy who are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their Central London office. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure projects and take on an increased level of responsiblity as they progress their career. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Produce infrastructure (civil, highways and drainage) design.
- Supervise infrastructure design using PDS design software and integrate same with Micro Drainage.
- Supervise/Undertake detailing to Technical Approval submission standards for Roads and Drainage Consent.
- Liaise with other members of the design team to achieve a coordinated design solution that meets the Clients objectives.
- Prepare high quality technical reports.
- Ensure that quality and consistency of technical output (drawings, reports etc.) is maintained.
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure.
- Working both as part of a multidiscipline team and individually, as appropriate.

 QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years` experience within a consultancy (post-graduation).
- Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required.
- Experience of civil analysis design and analysis software essential.
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD, PDS / Civil 3D beneficial.
- Experience in the operation and application of Micro Drainage

 The Infrastructure team specialises in providing high level advice to mainly private sector clients on planning and design issues relating to Highways, Public Realm, Signal Design, Sewerage, SUDS, Building Drainage, Earthworks, Flood Protection and Utilities Coordination/Diversion on Residential, Retail, Industrial and Commercial Developments in the UK.

Expected salary range: £28,000 to £36,000 (dependent on experience)
