Our client leads in Handover Documentation and Information for Buildings including all O&M, Statutory, Environmental and CAD-BIM Information for the construction industry. Management and Authoring of the entire suite of Project Handover Documentation is at their core.

o Organisation Skills - You must be exceptionally well organised and possess the ability to work under pressure with multiple contributors, organise and keep to deadlines and manage your own workload.

o Communication Skills - Have a pleasant nature with good interpersonal skills, both in writing, face to face and on the telephone.

o Accuracy and Attention to details - Tenacity and persistence in pursuing information from all parties involved with the handover documentation process is essential. Attention to detail is critical with the persistence to follow tasks through to completion.

o Computer Skills - Above average IT and keyboard skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and Drawing Files.


Knowledge of databases and document handling systems widely used in the construction industry is critical. Training will be given in these where necessary.

o Develop an understanding of all areas of the Project Handover Documentation requirements of Cross Rail and work under the guidance of the Project Director compile the necessary documents and data in both hard copy and the clients document management systems

o Set up the Projects, including management tools and issue templates/requirements to contractors

o Project Monitoring, including help line, chase ups and keeping records of progress to permit the assembly of progress reports

o Work with the team members in the UK and Overseas to gather and prepare the required information, to permit the production of the manuals

o Data preparation including scanning, file management and loading of documents to document platforms

o Assemble the draft and final issue hard copy documents if required

o Assemble the draft and final electronic documents

o Author/compile where necessary technical documents relating to the fabric and structures elements of a building from information provided by the Trade Contractors

o Provide support in all office duties

This role is offered on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract basis
