The successful candidate for this Unqualified Science Teacher role will be a Science graduate with a degree in any Science specialism, who is looking to take on the challenge of an unqualified Science Teacher role. As with the Teach First, School Direct and other graduate teacher training programmes, this role will involve training to teach while working as a full-time teacher. This will involve taking part in a brief induction before working as a full-time classroom teacher, teaching KS3-KS4 Science lessons. The successful candidate for this role will be resilient, confident in their knowledge of Science, and someone who works well with young adults. This person will receive support from a mentor within the school, who will help them with their lesson planning, and teaching practice.
