Ideal Recruit are looking for a Sales Manager to join one of the fastest growing equipment hire companies, servicing the construction and event hire industries.
We are looking for a dynamic sales manager to develop and drive our sale department, responsible for the growth targets and keeping our company competitive and innovative.
You will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, crafting sales plans and delivering results.
Responsibilities
• Manage and support the day to day operations of the sales teams
• Setting relevant objectives and monitoring performance
• Support the development of new sales strategies and identify sales opportunities to the senior management team
• Identify training needs and take ownership of the delivery of appropriate sales training for all levels of the sales teams
• Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures
• Work closely with the all members of the team ensure sales targets and team performances/expectations are achieved
• Able to coach, motivate and performance manage the teams
• Development of world class sales and retentions to reduce drop off and expand the business
• Support back-office in providing aftersales support and customer care
• Various standard and ad-hoc reporting, including KPI’s
• Attend on/off-site client meetings or events when required
• Responsible for recruitment

• Experience within the hire industry a bonus but not essential
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic even under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good arithmetic skills
• Computer literate with strong Excel and Outlook skills

• 3+ years of managerial experience
• Understanding of B2B
