Currently looking for a Java Technical Lead with experience in a Multithreading background who has worked on developing high performance low latency applications for a role with one of the UK's fastest growing mobile securities companies. You will be a hands on technical lead that will be responsible for driving complex engineering forward in their main Java Development team based in London. Your first task will be re-engineering their main platform as they are expanding rapidly and while it currently can handle the daily usage they want to ensure that this is the case moving forward. In addition there are a number of Greenfield projects that you will be involved in across both design and development. Everything that you work on will be using Java 8 and in an SOA environment.

The company are growing rapidly! They a work with some of the largest telecommunications and technologies companies not just in the UK but globally. AT any one time there could be up to half a million devices using their main application. Their application provides secure data to work devices, reducing the risk of theft or virus from affecting company operations. The office embraces the software house feel with bean bags, weekly socials, a bar stocked with a variety of drinks and a relaxed feel that ensure from the first day you walk through the door you'll feel like part of the team.

Technically there are a few requirements to be considered for this role. The most important is that you have worked in on a high performance, concurrent, low latency and multithreaded application built with either Java 7 or Java 8.The industry doesn't matter as the principles will be the same. You will also have worked on either integrating or building RESTful APIs. You will also have extensive experience unit testing and while you might not have been a team lead you will have mentored at least 3 developers, providing them technical guidance.

There is a lot to be gained from this role in addition to the salary, which is based on your experience and up to £110,000.
