Spencer Ogden are seeking an experienced commercial executive to be our clients Propositions Manager based in London.

As the Propositions Manager you will lead the development of our clients' customer propositions and ensure that this can be efficiently and effectively delivered against them as we scale up significantly.You'll join a commercial team at the forefront of balancing supply and demand within smart grid and energy storage. Our client are at the forefront in the electricity revolution with their technologies which are utilised within industrial, commercial and residential settings. Our client is rapidly growing and has ambitious plans to expand further within the smart technology sector.

The Propositions Manager has a key role in underpinning growth and ensuring that our client harness their commercial, technological and operational capabilities to deliver significant and sustainable value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Agree a scalable set of processes, templates and tools for proposition development
- Coordinate processes to refine our perfect customer profile and associated value propositions- Translate concepts into clear, targeted & compelling customer propositions/products supported by commercial heads of terms.
- Lead through new product process
- Ensure propositions are based on a solid understanding of customer needs
- Work closely with the technology team to identify and promote opportunities to modularise and reuse technical components between customers
- Act as the internal focal point for information about propositions
- Facilitate processes for market and customer feedback, ensuring that we learn quickly
- Support the sales team in developing existing and new Origami accounts, particularly key bids- Identify opportunities to reuse capabilities or solutions across multiple customers

Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 3 years of proposition / solution development experience in the technology, energy or similar B2B industry
- Broader commercial experience including marketing, contract structuring, pricing and service development
-Ideally some experience in scaling up new areas of a business, including standardising and automating parts of the process
-Good working knowledge of the UK energy market is preferable; particularly the benefits to customers of changing when they make or use energy
- Leadership and management experience a plus
- Prior experience in power origination, business development or trading a plus.
