Technical Project Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our London Engineering team. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers and engineers, managing all internal and external relationships during all project life cycles.

The successful candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure within sometimes a very busy environment, and be able to communicate clearly within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To maintain strong relationships with our clients.
  • To manage third party engineering works.
  • Hardware/ software kit orders.
  • Ensure all project related activities are coordinated in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that all identified issues and risks are documented, and manage all actions to mitigate the impact upon project delivery and handover.
  • Host regular project reviews and share the outcome with relevant Senior Management.
  • Provide customer satisfaction reports on project closure.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure team to manage and deliver large scale implementations and upgrades.
  • Managing the maintenance work
  • MPLS projects for Security/CCTV

Person Specification

Education/Qualifications/Training

  • Required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates) with at least 1 years' experience
  • Required: Prince 2 with at least 1 years' experience

Experience

  • Delivering a variety of infrastructure solutions and connectivity technology products.
  • Managing multiple tasks for multiple clients, including project initiation design, plan implementation and closure.

Skills/Knowledge/Understanding

  • Excellent understanding of IPVPN, WAN technologies and internet connectivity.
  • To have a great understanding of leadership skills to manage and control project issues and risks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • To have excellent influencing and communicating skills.
