Pobl Group is the parent Company and provides all the corporate services required for each of the Group companies. This ranges from Finance, Human Resources, IT and Facilities Management to Communications & Marketing and Sales.

The Group has invested around £1 billion properties funded by grants, borrowings and as a not for profit business the cash surpluses generated by the business which are reinvested. The role of the treasury and Investment team is to oversee and monitor the long-term business plan for the Group, and supporting the teams around the business and the Boards in evaluating investment and new business opportunities. Building and maintaining relationships with the external organisations which lend money to help us grow the business is key to the success of the Group and an important facet of what the team does. The Group borrowings of almost £500m, with an expectation that this will exceed £700m within 10 years.

What will you do?

The position ensures the integrity and efficient operation of treasury systems, procedures, processes and information. It also ensures compliance with the terms of funding arrangements, and high quality reporting and other advice to Group Members.

You`ll look after the Loan agreements for the business, and have an integral role to play in project planning.

You`ll line manage two Treasury officers, who will support you in the delivery of your objectives.

You`ll have the following:

A methodical approach to handling data from various sources.

You`ll have relevant professional qualification in finance and/or Banking - qualifications may be in one area but must be able to demonstrate experience in both areas.

A professional approach, as you`ll be dealing with key organisational funders

Understanding of commercial loan agreements

A methodical approach to handling data from various sources.

Understanding of loan facilities and documentation
