Service Design & Bid Development Manager

We are a national social justice charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives. Our impressive range of services across England and Wales cover education, housing, support and wellbeing, substance misuse treatment and the prevention of reoffending. We advise and we speak out for and with disadvantaged young people and adults. We never give up.
We are now seeking to add to our business development team a service design and bid development manager with specific expertise in substance misuse. Working closely with the business and as part of the bid development team, the successful candidate will have the ability to create new, competitive service models which reflect Nacro's philosophy and the requirements of commissioners, and be able to write compelling bids.
To be successful in this role, you will need a can-do attitude and the ability to work well with others to generate their support and contributions to bids, as well as being able to deliver to tight timescales. It goes without saying that you will have an excellent written style and know how to present to commissioners and service users in a lively and engaging way. You will also be a subject expert on substance misuse, with relevant operational and business development experience.
There is some flexibility on the location of these posts. If based in London, area weighting will be payable.
