YOU: An experienced 2nd line IT Support Engineer with a strong background in desktop support, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, servers systems, networking and virtualisation looking for new challenges, superb career prospects, excellent training and knowledge transfer.

MY CLIENT: exceptional London and Kent based technology company with a highly successful and professional team of support engineers and analysts supporting prestigious clients on a global basis, primarily within the financial services industry. Looking for a perfect partner in the shape of an experienced support engineer with brilliant customer service skills and who is brilliant with networking and servers.

Who knows what the future holds for this match made in heaven? Very likely it will include implementation projects, progression to third line and project management. Overseas travel is also on the cards as my client has clients in 13 countries.

Key attributes/Experience:

• Four years’ experience in an IT support / technical support environment
• Telephone, email and onsite support experience
• Excellent customer support skills as Engineers spend almost 100% of their time on client sites and are representing the company
• Provide ‘white glove’ onsite support for key clients
• Providing escalation support
• Previous implementation experience
• Innovative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Very well presented
