Role overview:

An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to apply and support the best practice compliance, negotiation, administration and execution of the Procurement function for the business. We are looking for someone with a high level of organisation and administrative competency, who is able to apply proven interpersonal skills to work comfortably up, down and across the organisation using communication and influencing skills to bring teams together, address concerns and get results. They will be required to demonstrate an aptitude to build a solid background in purchasing goods and services within a thriving e-commerce environment. Sound problem solving and analytical skills are key, along with the ability to forge long-lasting relationships to plan, forecast and correctly assess the needs of the business.

What we need you to do:

- Identify and introduce best practice, improvement and transparency to the business procurement process for goods and services

- Relate the Procurement function to the needs of the business and its growth within the e-commerce and digital environment

- Monitor and maintain the calendar of essential dates for renewals of contracts and opportunity for negotiation

- Oversee the purchase order process, including ensuring compliance within the MS Dynamics AX ERP platform and providing support to all users of the system

- Maintain and support compliance with Brands’ price and discount structures and suppliers’ terms and business

- Unite the Procurement function to the needs of the business and its growth within the e-commerce and digital environment in order to achieve business objectives

Your skills:

- Experience within a business environment (preferably e-Commerce)

- Excellent negotiation and networking skills

- Advanced level MS Excel skills

- Intermediate level MS PowerPoint skills

- High level of personal organisation with an ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

- Ability to make considered decisions, particularly in relation to financial and budget-setting activities
