Looking to extend your events support experience? Love organising? Enjoy managing large amounts of data and producing programmes? Great! We are recruiting for a charitable organisation based in the heart of London, they operate with a small but very effective team of professionals. Due to work demands they are seeking to recruit for an able, organised and highly communicative Events Coordinator on a full time and permanent basis. This is an exciting and brand new opportunity within this organisation and the successful individual will report directly into their highly experienced Events Director.
This crucial role will be very demanding administration wise but you will also be involved with the organisation and running of two key annual events which will include overnight stays (expenses covered). One of the key responsibilities will be to create the programmes for each of the events, this will include working closely with relevant colleagues in order to do so to tight deadlines.
This is a hugely varied opportunity, working for a long standing, reputable and charitable organisation, therefore having a natural interest and some events support experience within the not for profit sector would be essential.
If you are yet to "cut your teeth" within an events role, unfortunately this opportunity would not be suitable due to the size of the team and the need for someone to be familiar in working within an events organisational setting. Though you will be expected to work fairly autonomously once you have been shown the ropes you will also have day to day support from the Director of Events and the rest of the larger team. Having experience of creating an App, working onsite at corporate events and working on programme type material would be a distinct advantage.
Benefits offered: a salary of up to £24,000, working hours of 9-5pm (though an expectation of full attendance including overnight stays at the two key annual events, holidays 20 days plus Christmas office shut down and two days TOIL for each event attended, interest free travel card loan and an auto-enroled pension scheme.
