Primary Teaching Assistant – The role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant at this school you will be working with children of all ages across the school, supporting the needs of all pupils at different stages in their primary education experience by working with them 1-1 and leading group sessions of target intervention. Throughout this Primary Teaching Assistant role, you will be focusing on the pupils’ development in grammar, spelling and punctuation and create stimulating but challenging learning materials to support this development. As your experience and confidence grows as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will begin to deliver pre-planned lessons, enabling you to practice your independent teaching skills and provide the pupils with the best opportunity to achieve their potential.
