IT & Information Management Advisor; London; Up to £42k

An IT & Information Management Advisor is required by a national organisation from their central London head office in Marylebone. The organisation boast some of the most talented people in their field and are seeking an all rounder with adaptable skills to work on a host of new projects.
Working within the Business Services Directorate, the IT and Information Management Advisor post will be the IT super-user for the organisation and the lead on information storage and retrieval systems across the organisation.

Responsibilities

As the IT & Information Management Advisor the initial priority tasks are:
·to manage the on-going internal implementation of the organisation's replacement of its Customer Relationship
·be a vital project steer in the organisation's replacement of its Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System- known internally as the organisation's 360 Project
·provide support to the Director for Business Services in IT tender administration, UAT testing and project work
·Control of the ongoing implementation of the Sharepoint (2010) system across the organisation to an agreed quality standard and timescale

Person Specification

·A background in Information Management or a proven understanding of the requirements of Information Management within a membership organisation (or similar) e.g. ability to define, understand and draft relevant policies and guidance
·Knowledge of the legal requirements of Information Management; including the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)A relevant qualification with a substantial IT systems element
·Excellent attention to detail
·Evidenced project management skills
·Well developed communication skills, including experience conducting staff training and working with a diverse staff team with varying IT skills, both face to face and remotely
·Able to communicate technical jargon in a clear, well-structured and succinct way Intellectual curiosity, especially about using technology to improve smarter workingEffective relationship management skills, for example maximising relationships with external suppliers
·Ability to multi-task, prioritise, work to tight deadlines and be proactive
·Accurate analytical and good attention to detail
·Strong IT skills
·Good working knowledge of SharePoint 2010 or 2013 as an advanced user and/or administrator of a similar system
·Good working knowledge of InfoPath 2010 or 2013 Development and relational databases, including backend administration and OOTB development
·Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package
·Working knowledge of Oracle databases and Dynamics CRM, Active Directory, Exchange and Citrix Xen App is desirable
