We are now looking for a Soft Services Manager to take ownership of the operation management and delivery of Soft Services to a Prison Estate on our National Offender Management Services contract.

The role will see you managing the delivery of Cleaning, Stores, Engineering Services and Pest Control through existing on-site teams and subcontractors. The role would suit an established multi-skilled Soft Services Supervisor driven by providing a dedicated service whilst fostering a culture of exceptional customer care.

Key responsibilities of the Role

1 Own the delivery of Cleaning via the on-site teams; Advise on Cleaning standards; Provide Cleaning Training in line with complying with the National Specifications for Cleanliness (April 2007), the Contractor shall consider the continuous service improvement principles contained within the BSI Specification PAS 5748:2014

2 Own the delivery of Stores and Carillion Engineering Services via the on-site teams; Monitor Stores and CES transactions and advise on best practices; Identify cost savings for the Customer

3 Own the delivery of Pest Control via sub-contractor; Create new solutions and identify cost savings for the Customer

4 Monitor performance of the designated areas of responsibility; Attend monthly KPI meetings as required

5 Drive Health & Safety and Sustainability initiatives in designated areas of responsibility

6 Drive compliance with the contract, company and Customer policies in designated areas of responsibility

7 Own complaint resolution in relation to the designated areas of responsibility 8 Supervision and management of associated soft FM staff including assessment of performance, reviews against objectives, scheduling, rotas, team talks.
