Senior/ Lead Ruby Developer is highly sought after by a rapidly growing mature start-up working on a SaaS B2B product that is making a real impact in the corporate World. It is used by multiple FTSE 100 companies to improve the effectiveness of the Senior leadership teams and board numbers.

The Senior/Lead Ruby Developer will be expected to take up a natural leadership position over the team of full stack Ruby Developers and act as the right hand to the head of engineering, they are currently going through a massive project to break down their platform into Microservices. On top of this mammoth undertaking there are also multiple feature requests that are waiting to be added, the platform is currently built using Ruby on Rails and React on the front end, however it may not stay like this - they are a very tech agnostic environment and with the breakdown of the platform are looking into the use of technologies such as Golang, Rust or Elixir.

The successful Senior/Lead Ruby Developer will have experience working in a Senior position in a Ruby on Rails hands on role and have experience of making significant technical decisions and working with a team. This company are extremely proud of their codebase and have 100% test coverage across it, so the Senior/Lead Ruby Developer must have experience of writing unit and integration tests.
