Graduate Building Surveyor

A highly respected independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Technical Specialists based in Central London are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their expanding Building Consultancy team.

Having been established for over 20 years in the Capital, this Practice have historically specialised in Rights of Light and Party Wall matters and have recently opened a Building Consultancy team.

With 2 Building Surveying directors offering over 30 years of knowledge from some of London's top Property Consultancies, this role is offering the full spectrum of Building Surveying exposure focusing on more Professional matters.

The Company

An established firm of Chartered Surveyors with over 150 professional employees specialising in Technical Building Surveying matters, Rights of Light/Party Wall matters and core Building Consultancy.

With their Commercial Building Consultancy team still very much in its early stages, this company specifically work within the Private Sector assisting Commercial Occupiers, Investors and some of London's more prestigious Estates.

This practice has strong expansion plans over the next 3 years and have an extremely high level of retained business.

The Role

The Graduate Building Surveyors' duties will include;

  • Due Diligence/Building Surveys
  • Contract Administration
  • Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters
  • Dilapidations
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Pre-Acquisition Surveys

The Successful Graduate Building Surveyor

This is a role ideal for a Graduate Building Surveyor seeking a tailored pathway to MRICS Chartership who may not be getting the support needed in their current role.

  • 6 months Private Practice/Consultancy Building Surveying experience
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • Experience in dealing with Professional Building Surveying matters ideal
  • Client facing

  • Strong communication skills
