This is an interesting and varies role, in which the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the entire activities within the Accounts Department. Day to day duties are likely to include looking after the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers; raising of sales invoices and making regular supplier payments, banking and bank reconciliation, plus credit control. You will also be responsible for the preparation of VAT returns and monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting and profit and loss reporting. The successful candidate will have all-round accounts experience, and will be accustomed to adopting a hands on approach. The accounts are run on Sage Line 50, so previous experience of this software is essential, and you will also be involved in some general office administration tasks.
