Assessor in Horticulture
The College has a substantial Apprenticeship Provision which is continuing to grow. Building upon our team of talented Assessors, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assessor who can assess in Horticulture.
With the new levy rules coming into play from 1st May 2017, there is an increased demand for horticulture training at different levels.
You will have experience of working with Apprentices, up to date and relevant vocational experience within industry, and work well and independently as part of a team. The post holder will be responsible for assessment and review of Apprentices.
You will be able coach and support Apprentices both in College and in the workplace and carry out health and safety checks on employer premises where required. The successful person will also participate as a member of the course team, support curriculum developments and provide advice and guidance to employers and new apprentices. In turn, we will support your development with teaching and/ or verification qualifications as appropriate.
