Looking for casual work as a support worker? Have at least 12 months experience in the social care sector? Whether it's a couple of shifts a week or once every now and again, we welcome your application as we have a number of shifts available in Skipton!

Our client, a national care provider, require casual staff to cover shifts at their supported living service not far from Skipton centre. This service provides support to two individuals with Autism who require daily assistance with everyday tasks both in the service and out in the community. Your main responsbility in supported living is to build your client's confidence and independence to the point where they need minimal assistance or prompting with their care needs. However, some clients will require hands on care at times, so experience with personal care is essential.

Shifts at this service tend to be a mixture of long and short as some clients are in education during the week. Example shift times are 16.30 - 22.00, 08.00 - 21.30, 07.00 - 17.00 but these are quite flexible. Shifts are available through the week and on weekends so applicants with consistent avaialbility will be best suited for this role. The service would benefit from having the same staff in order to keep continuity so we are interested in hearing from applicants looking to cover casual shifts on a long term basis.

Alternatively, we also have both part time and full time positions available on a permanent basis at this service, so welcome applicants to apply if this is of interest.
