A global drinks distribution company based in West London requires an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant familiar with JD Edwards - Oracle, to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsibilities for supplier invoices, travel and expenses and intercompany are split across 3 accounts assistants and include the following tasks:
* Logging & scanning invoices / expenses
* Processing approved invoices / expenses for payment
* Managing payment queries from 3rd parties
* Ensuring compliance with company policy (eg travel and expenses or Purchase Order process)
* Ensuring compliance with VAT rules and around corporation tax/PSA for expenses
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Reviewing old invoices and following up to ensure dealt with correctly,
* Chasing debit balances if new invoices expected
* Preparing payment runs (cheque, BACS, CHAPS)
* Raising sundry accounts receivable invoices
* Banking administration & bank reconciliations
* Internal mobile phone reporting
* Intercompany invoice processing, recharges, netting & reconciliation
* Providing cover for each other
* Finance business owner and systems super user for Mobill (mobile phone system)
* Ensure process documentation in place for all processes Key Relationships - All internal departments, in particular operations and marketing


* Experience within a purchase ledger role
* JD Edwards experience
* Preferred Background - Medium to large, fast paced company
* Worked in a team environment
