Field Sales Engineer, South of England, £32,000 Basic, £40,000 OTE + Car + Benefits. Manufacturer of compressors, generators and power tools require an account management led technical sales engineer to manage the network of 160 accounts in the South of England covering counties to the West and South of the M25 with an ideal living location 40 miles each side of the A34.

The role is 95% account management and account development role introducing new products, training trade distributor staff and supporting distributors from a technical and commercial perspective to win larger projects. A high emphasis of the role is managing and motivating the distributors to sell your products over the competition together with providing manufacturer's support to the distributors sales reps out 'in the field'.

With technical field sales experience, within an engineering environment, you will be a sales professional that genuinely seeks 'win-win' partnerships for long term growth alongside your distributor network. Applications are also welcomed from field sales staff working for a tools distributor looking to work for a manufacturer.

As a person, you will be enthusiastic, positive, organised and have a reputation for being upbeat and cheery. This is a relationship based sale and the company deliberately steer away from relying on 'selling from a catalogue'.
