Cleaner / FM Support Assistant required for a long term contract working part time. Monday - Thursday 5.00pm-7.00pm and Friday 2.00pm - 4.00pm

The successful candidate will be working as a team to deliver the following services: Cleaning, window cleaning, waste, recycling, and general FM tasks to keep the building safe and maintained for the staff and visitors.

The main duties will include daily and periodic routine cleaning of the site.

Main Responsibilities:

* Delivering cleaning standards in line with British Institute of Science. Following correct cleaning colour coding of cloths, mops and buckets.
* Use of electronic cleaning equipment (Scrubbers, carpet dry cleaning equip/shampooing equipment/hoovers).
* Full awareness of COSHH
* Use of appropriate signage during cleaning.
* Working to a daily/weekly/monthly cleaning regime.
* Out of normal business hours periodic deep cleaning. (Evenings/early mornings as required).
* Waste and recycling control and ensuring that control measures are taken to remove office waste appropriately.
* Maintaining cleanliness/tidiness of kitchenettes across the building.
* Once per day cleaning of toilet and shower facilities.
* Reactive /emergency cleaning tasks as required within appropriate agreed timelines.
* Ensuring key areas within the building are cleaned more frequently to present a high class image for the company

* Reporting & maintaining cleaning material stock levels and ordering via the correct procurement process.
* Use of a washing machine to maintain cleanliness of cleaning cloths & tea towels. (Tea towels to be changed regularly for hygiene across all kitchenettes).
* Ensure kitchenettes are always stocked with washing up liquid and sponges/cloths.
* Ensuring all cleaning equipment is in a fit safe state by carrying out H&S checks prior to each use including to ensure equipment is PAT tested.
* Report any H&S faults, issues or observations in line with their H&S policies and procedures.
* Attendance at required 1:1/Team/Building meetings.
* Complete objectives in line with annual PDP (appraisal) as directed in agreement with line manager.
* Report all faults if discovered within the building whilst on duty.
* Travel to other site locations as and when required in order to meet the requirements of the role.
* Wear and conform to the company PPE H&S procedures when carrying out specific tasks.
* Dual role as a cover for the Reception.

You must have a working background as a Cleaner or FM Support Assistant carrying out the above duties. This must all be clear on CV application.

You must have a flexible and proactive attitude to work and be professional.

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Ideally you will hold the following:
* BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science)
* NVQ level 2 in cleaning
* Previous experience delivering cleaning and front of house services

You must be able to undergo successful security clearance
