Due to company growth this international industry leading brand is now looking for an experienced and ambitious Area Sales Manager in the Dartford area. The ideal ASM needs to have a demonstrable track record of success ideally within advertising solutions as well as the energy, enthusiasm and creativity to succeed in a challenging yet rewarding sector. The Area Sales Manager would be confident with a strong leadership style and the ability to manage a multi-disciplined team of people working in an ever expanding digital and traditional advertising environment.

The perfect Area Sales Manager will have a several proven years' experience in a field sales management role, ideally with a local or regional focus selling B2B advertising into small and medium sized businesses. As an Area Sales Manager you will need to have a strong commercial focus and people skills with the ability to drive new business opportunities to achieve personal and team revenue targets.

Area Sales Manager daily duties:

You will be responsible for proactively leading a team of 7-12 Business Development Managers to achieve their target with a hands on approach to selling OOH advertising space directly to small and Medium sized businesses.

Your superstar team will sell to a broad range of clients spanning public sector and private sectors. You will support them in identifying and developing new prospects and sales leads via excellent marketing activity and local market intelligence.

Your clients will range from large regional clients with complex needs, through to smaller local businesses purchasing local campaigns. You will support the development of all existing clients and maximise their value.

You will have a demonstrable track record of creating and growing new and untapped markets.

You will be familiar with working via a world-class sales process, reporting and sales operational system.

You will be an inspirational and engaging leader able to motivate and coach teams to unrivalled levels of success.
