You will be working alongside a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage a variety of projects, as well as working collaboratively with the rest of the Procurement department.

The team works in a unified and cohesive manner in order to meet key requirements of internal stakeholders and hit time and cost critical deadlines.

The position:
You will be responsible for the Capital Works and Facilities Management for the wider business at a variety of sites across the UK. The projects themselves will be to the value of millions of pounds each, and you will be expected to manage the spend for multiple projects simultaneously.

Once the projects have been secured you will be responsible for the Procurement process from cradle to grave, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating and drawing up and managing Contracts.

As the role will be working over multiple sites you will be expected to travel on occasion to meet suppliers and other internal stakeholders.

What is expected from you:
You will have a strategic mindset, where you are able to effectively manage a large spend and numerous projects. We are ideally looking for someone who is fully CIPS qualified, although part qualified or qualified by experience will be considered.
You will either have some experience within Procurement of Capital Works or project related Procurement in order to hit the ground running, although top calibre and ambitious Supply Chain and Procurement professionals will be considered.

You may have experience as a Contracts Manager, Category Buyer, Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Purchasing professional or Category Manager.

Location:
This Gloucestershire based role is commutable from all areas of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire including Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and north Bristol. It would also be feasible to travel from locations such as Swindon and Evesham.
