Sewell Wallis have a fantastic opportunity with an expanding company in Sheffield. A brand new Assistant Accountant role has been created to keep up with the recent growth to sit between the Head of Finance, Finance Manager and the transactional team.

The role;

*Assist Finance Manager in production of monthly management accounts
*Preparation of month end journals including accruals and prepayments
*Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
*Assist the Group Accountant in the preparation of rebate accruals
*Intercompany recharges
*Assist in year-end reporting and the annual audit
*Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
*Assist in the preparation of quarterly reforecasts
*Input of supplier invoices
*Assistance in the management of control accounts
*Undertake bank reconciliations and other Bank-related tasks
*Raise purchase orders

The person;

*AAT/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or AAT fully qualified
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel - V lookups and pivot tables
*Experience working in a financial department
