I am actively seeking a professional, person centred and care focussed team leader to join a leading provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex care needs.

Based within a small, yet homely service for adults with sensory impairments, physical disabilities and complex care needs, you will work closely within the management team to deliver high quality care and support.

Working a varied shift pattern to include earlies, evenings and weekends on a rota basis, you will play a key role in staff management and ensuring the appropriate level of staff are in place for the service. You will be responsible for care reviews and supervisions, staff inductions and training.

You will offer direct support to the people who live here and have responsibility for care and support planning, finance management, updating daily records and sharing the "on call" rota. In the absence of the manager you will oversee the day to day running of the service.

This is a great opportunity for a committed, versatile and positive care professional who is looking to take their first step into management and to develop their career with a supportive and dynamic healthcare provider.

To be considered for this exciting team leader post, you will need to demonstrate a proven background within residential care and support for adults with learning disabilities including sensory impairments, autism and physical disabilities. You will also have knowledge and experience within a senior or team leader capacity and hold the QCF level 3 in health and social care or equivalent.

Due to the nature of this service, you will need to have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern including early, late and weekend shifts, and you will also be committed to sharing the on call rota.

If successful, you will benefit from a generous salary up to £19035 per annum dependent on your relevant skills and experience. You will also receive a competitive annual leave allowance, on going training and development and genuine career progression opportunities.
