We are looking for a Broker Support to join our Financial Services client in Bath.

The focus of this busy Broker Support team is to grow an existing portfolio of accounts. The position requires a high level of administrative support to ensure that proposal information is efficiently presented to the underwriting team.


  • Develop via the telephone effective relationships with the existing broker account base

  • Ensure fast, efficient, high quality, error free processing of proposals/applications in line with customer needs and agreed service levels

  • Contact brokers in order to gain information required to establish customer credit approval, and compile deal packages to pass for underwriting decision

  • Run credit/land registry searches

  • Progress chase and follow-up all accepted proposals in order to win business

  • Identify new business opportunities from non-supporting or lapsed broker accounts

  • Ensure comprehensive, up-to-date customer account records are maintained on a database

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of working within a sales/relationship support role

  • Leasing/broker experience

  • Excellent time management

  • Good Keyboard Skills/PC knowledge and understanding

  • Personally motivated to work in a customer focussed environment with the ability to work well under pressure

  • Excellent telephone communication skills
