Due to continued growth, our client who are a well-established and successful organisation are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipefitter/Welder to support a number of industrial contracts located throughout Scotland on a full time permanent basis.

Employed in a mobile position covering Scotland and working directly from engineering drawings and specifications, you will be responsible for the installation, welding and fabrication of pipework ranging anywhere from ½” to 8” in diameter on a customer base that can range from chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial clients

Essential requirements:

-Experience with both threaded and welded pipework, ranging from ½” to 8” in diameter
-Be a competent MMA welder (Coding preferred but not essential)
-Experience of both welded and screwed pipework
-Experience in fabrication of mild and stainless steel components
-Highly motivated and able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
-Good working knowledge of H&S requirements
-Full UK Drivers licence
-Good problem solving skills.
-Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
-Willing to travel throughout the region if and when required

The successful Pipefitter/Welder will have a proven track record of the above requirements (this is essential) and be able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care, good communication skills, a pro-active attitude and the capability to complete essential paperwork. Experience in anticipating and repairing faults will be required.
