Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to join their dynamic team specialising in Elderly care.

Key Responsibilities include:

*Managing and delivering person-centred services that meet the assessed needs of customers

*Managing and monitoring operations in line with budgets, service standards, policies and procedures

*Achieve growth targets

*Recruit, manage, develop, discipline and retain staff whilst always ensuring there is adequate cover at all times and the rostering system is being used effectively

*Market and promote the care service by networking within the local community and with social services

*Being on-call when required for emergency cover

*Ensure all compliance documents are audited 3-monthly and act immediately on any shortfalls

*Participate in budget setting, applying effective financial controls and attend monthly budget meetings

*Identify and manage all risks and escalate relevant issues as appropriate

*Completing detailed investigations into complaints

You must:

*Have QCF Level 5/NVQ level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care qualification or a Registered Manager Award

*Have prior experience managing at least a 1500+ hour community based care service

*Demonstrate a sensitive and supportive approach to vulnerable people, maintaining their dignity and self-respect at all times

*Have experience of staff management within a social care environment

*Have knowledge of and the ability to apply: the Health and Social Care Act 2008, (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010, The Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and The Care Act 2014/15

*Have a good understanding of financial monitoring and budgetary control

*Have good understanding of financial monitoring and budgetary control

*Have excellent experience of managing the delivery of a high-quality care practice

*Be computer literate and be able to write reports

*Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

*Be able to provide strong and effective leadership and be able to motive and develop people at all levels

40 Hours per week including evenings, weekends and on-call work when required. Full UK driving licence and own transport required as the role will involve some mobile-working.
