Page Personnel are recruiting for a small, but growing company for an Accounts Assistant to assist the Financial Controller in the day to day running of the Accounts department

Client Details

Based in Wareham, Dorset, the client is a supplier to many local and national businesses

Description

You will be required to:

  • Process invoices
  • Create and send monthly statements
  • Credit check customers and creating new accounts
  • Export transactions from company software- Sage
  • Daily allocation of payments
  • Creating Pro Formas
  • Debt collecting
  • Produce month end debtors reports
  • Daily payment reconciliation
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Various month end duties
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Maintain various waste reports
  • Answer phones and assist in other duties as needed

Strong Credit Control experience is desireable

Profile

Desired skills:

  • Sage 50 accounts
  • Experience in Excel and Word programmes
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Capable of multitasking under pressure
  • Adaptable and organised

Required:

  • Own Transport
  • Local Person (preferred)
