Health & Social Care Assessor

My client, a market leading training provider is currently recruiting for a Health & Social Care Assessor based in Essex. The position has only become available due to their current assessor being promoted and company expansion.

We are looking for enthusiastic experienced professional with Health and Social Care experience to deliver apprenticeship frameworks cantered around Essex.

The role entails

• Visiting/ assessing learners within their workplace and utilising your skills and experience that will help guide learners to achieve their qualifications

• You will be allocated a caseload (55/60 learners) who are wanting to attain their Health care qualifications (from various levels)

•  You will support your caseload of learners through face to face discussions, remote assessments and e-learning portfolio systems

• You will set your learners reasonable and measurable targets that will stretch their learning capabilities and retain their interest

•  Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners

• You will need to have your own transport and be willing to travel within a designated geographical area from your home location

• Working as part of a regional team

This role allows you to have freedom to work flexibly & to manage your time and diary accordingly as you will be the master of your own diary.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health and Social Care and needs to have an assessors qualifications -D32/D33/A1 or TAQA and have experience delivering  Apprenticeship frameworks out in the workplace.

Essential Criteria:

• Assessors qualifications (A1, D32/33/ TAQA, CAVA)

• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care

• Have experience working in Care

• Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care

• Must be a driver and have own car

Salary and Benefits:

• Mileage allowance paid from home (40 pence per mile)
