Are you an Accounts Assistant with payroll and sage experience looking for a part time post in Ilminister?

I am looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly finance team of a large global organisation with an excellent reputation. As a Company, they are aiming to achieve significant growth backed by their technology and the specialist knowledge and expertise of their workforce.

The role

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations for review by Finance Manager
  • Preparation of monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Posting and allocation of cash received to customer's accounts
  • Prepare payments and posting of travel expenses, company credit
  • Card expenses and manual invoices and posting monthly journals
  • Prepare weekly payroll and input to payroll system
  • Prepare HMRC, pension scheme and other payroll deductions payments
  • Support Finance Manager
  • Petty cash
  • Cover reception duties

Part time hours:

Tuesday 0800 to 1630 with unpaid break from 12.50 to 13.15

Wednesday 0800 to 1630 with unpaid break from 12.50 to 13.15

Friday 0800 to 1320 with unpaid break from 10.50 to 11.00

Specific Criteria required for this position

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in SAGE finance or Payroll software
