My client provides bespoke and turnkey project planning, mechanical and electrical installations, complete engineering design risk assessment and complete engineering project management to a variety of areas in the process industry. Typical projects centre around the design and build of new process plants for the food, beverage, brewery and pharmaceutical sectors.

My client has just won a £20m project in the pharmaceutical industry and are looking to engage with an experienced Validation professional to help them deliver the project.

The role will involve:

Project management of the validation and compliance element of the project – essentially making sure that what is delivered meets the client’s specifications and requirements

*
High level client liaison, communicating with them at all stages of the project to ensure that their requirements are being met, seeking approval and sign off at all gateways

*
Managing the supply chain, to ensure that all externally procured items meet the client’s specifications and standards

*
International travel to meet with the customer and supplier (Europe / US)

*
High level document control, ensuring a solid paper trail and evidence

The Validation Engineer must possess the following:

*
5 years + experience in a similar role working on the contractor side

*
Exposure to projects of this value (£20m +)

*
Pharmaceutical industry experience

*
A track record of success, and the ability to take ownership of this role – adding value to the existing team

*
A self-starter, who can take the lead, and come on board as an expert in this field

The company will offer the successful Validation Engineer:

£30p/h - £45 p/h (Ltd)

An initial contract of up to 6 months with opportunities for extensions.
