esa are excited to announce we are recruiting 3 Regional Managers. These roles are new to our business and are pivotal to continually exceed the experience we provide to our guests and ongoing development of our field teams.
You will take full responsibility for all 'day to day’ operational activities in an allocated region to ensure that the esa apartments are expertly cleaned, maintained and serviced to the esa brand standards. This will be achieved through direct line management of the Housekeeping function and dotted line management of the Maintenance Technicians and a Guest Relations team in your region. Quality Control and Operational Standards will be a large part of the role remit to help maintain standards, resolve queries, train our teams and streamline the operation for the benefit of our guests.
You will report directly to the Operations Director and your direct reports are likely to be between 5-7 and indirect reports of 25-40 depending on the region size.
Your key performance measures in this role will be Guest Satisfaction, Quality, Budget Control, Employee Retention and Efficiency/Productivity.
The role will require time spent at all the apartments in the region and from time to time support will be required in any other areas within reasonable distance.
Our regions are:
Region 1 West - Newbury, Oxford, Swindon, Reading, Bracknell & Maidenhead
Region 2 South - Southampton, Portsmouth Bournemouth, Poole & Basingstoke
Region 3 East - Windsor, Slough, Staines, Uxbridge, Guildford & Woking
These strategic roles will form part of our Senior Team in the Operations function.
You will have…
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position ideally from within the hotel/serviced apartment/ hospitality industry with a multi-site responsibility
Strong planning and rota scheduling experience for multi-skilled teams
Strong managerial skills with the ability to manage day to day employee queries along with more complex performance issues
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with an ability to influence at all levels
Excellent attention to detail
Able to handle and resolve in a timely manner Guest complaints
Previous experience of driving and educating a team to work to defined Quality Standards
A positive outlook, with passion for the guest and their experience
Previous experience of budget control
Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Systems
Strong decision making skills with an analytical approach
Proven ability to train and coach a large team
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation where a 5 out of 7 working week is essential
