PCB Care are looking for experienced Housing Resettlement Worker to work with ex-offenders and homeless individuals in Derby and Nottingham.

The purpose of the role is to;

* Ensure the environment of the service user is well maintained, clean, tidy and assessed for any fire and health and safety risks.

* Carry out initial assessments of the potential service user, including an assessment of needs and suitability in respect of the service on offer.

* Completion of all legal documentation with clients. eg tenure, support agreement, property inventory, disclosure forms and an application for Housing Benefit where applicable.

* Rent collection, manage voids and re-lets.

*Complete monthly health and safety inspections, maintenance issues and to attend properties as required facilitating access for works to be completed. To monitor the standard of works completed by contractors.

* Respond to internal or external complaints promptly, challenging any anti-social behaviour and reporting any risks.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of;

* Delivering support services to ex-offenders and homeless individuals.

* Interviewing and assessing individuals housing and support needs.

* Managing tenure and the completion of tenure documentation including taking appropriate action in line with legal requirements and policy.

* Managing the collection and recording of rental income along with the experience of liaising with Housing Benefit departments to facilitate claims.

* Managing voids and re-lets.

* Undertaking Health and Safety inspections of properties in respect of repairs, maintenance and fire safety.

* Completing a comprehensive assessment of risk.

* Working within professional boundaries and developing and maintaining professional working relationships.

You must be a car driver, have 12 months experience and be willing to undergo a DBS check.

The hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and you will be provided with a laptop and a mobile phone to carry out your duties.
