Responsibilities and duties:

• To provide a high standard of nursing care and to meet the needs of residents based on an assessment of their care needs in consultation with residents and their relatives.
• Assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet individual’s health and wellbeing needs.
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others, delegation and supervision of care staff.
• Promote best practices as a Staff Nurse - RN in health and safety and security.
• Assist in maintaining and developing services.
• Contribute to quality improvement.
• Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights.
• Work autonomously with minimum supervision.
• Applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes. Monitoring service users' conditions, recording and communicating observations and care given.

Requirements for the role:

¥ Have a valid NMC pin number.
¥ A Passion for Care and commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable people.
¥ Able to provide proof of right to work within the UK
¥ Able to provide references covering the last 3 years including your current employer.
¥ Good written and verbal communication skills.
¥ A willingness to learn and understand the needs and aspirations of service users and apply this to practice.
