I am currently working with several clients throughout West Yorkshire that are looking for RGN/RNLD/RMN/RSCNs to join their teams.

These positions range from roles for Newly Qualified Nurses to Clinical Managers and NMC Registered Home Managers. Training is provided for those who require it.

Whether you have experience in caring for the Elderly, those with Learning Disabilities, Children and Young People or clients with Mental Health conditions, we want to hear from you!

Essential attributes

- Caring, empathetic and committed to the provision of exceptional care

- A valid NMC Registration (any discipline)

- Up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations

- Understanding of employment practice and Health and Safety legislation

- Ability to document accurately and in a timely manner

- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

- The ability to plan and prioritise work and time effectively using own initiative

- The ability to liaise with a wide-reaching MDT, including Medical and Nursing, Social Services and key stakeholders

- Strong organisational skills

- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Collaborative working - sharing best practice and escalating matters as required

The role will involve:

- Carry out the assessment of the care needs of the service user, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, and management of staff

- In accordance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008, the post holder will actively participate in the prevention and control of infection within the capacity of their role

- Act as named nurse to designated service user(s)

- Adhere to the NMC Code - Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics for Nurses and Midwives

- Contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research-based practice, with a view to meeting PREP requirements

- Promote good relations with the public, service user's relatives, GP's and all other external professional and statutory bodies

- Continually assessing patients' physical and emotional wellbeing and respond accordingly

- Ensure that the working environment is safe, engaging and a positive experience for fellow staff and service users
