My client is looking for a Team Leader to join a friendly team in the Brighton area providing support to support users with learning disabilities who may display challenging behaviour. You will be joining a family orientated organisation with excellent career progression - my client promotes internally and offers specialist training to team members, offering an opportunity to work towards long-term and highly awarding career.
Your new role
As a Team Leader, you will provide regular guidance, support and supervision to support workers and senior support workers to ensure that the support users receive high quality service in accordance with the CQC requirements. You will be responsible for effective rota management, risk assessments, legalising with specialists and assisting the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the service. You will work 37.5 hours per week and work a mixture of days, nights and sleep ins and be on-call for any house emergencies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be suitable for this work you will need to:
- Hold NVQ Level 3 in Social Care as a minimum, preferably Level 5
- Have experience with providing support to service users with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
- Have previous management or senior level experience

Working with an exceptional team delivering quality of service and supporting service users to live fulfilled lives. In addition, you will be paid £10.35 per hour (£20 182.50 p.a. based on working 37.5 hours per week). Sleep ins are paid at a separate fixed rate.
