Our client manages more than 30 different housing, training and support services across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and North Yorkshire.

They currently have a new project to increase integration in Leeds City Region by supporting the most socially excluded new migrants to tackle the complex barriers they face in integrating in their local areas, increasing their employability or finding work.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Key Worker to join their team in Bradford and support the project. The main purpose of this role is to provide a support service for refugees and migrants, developing a package of support and overseeing and navigating participant progress through the project. You will also assist the team in the delivery of the highest standards of support for clients referred to the service, this will include addressing problems and barriers to progression such as housing issues, access to benefits or underlying health concerns and recognising domestic violence and abuse.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with refugees / migrants and will have an understanding of their needs and how to assess these. It would be advantageous for you to have experience of liaising with a variety of statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of clients and / or organisations along with knowledge of welfare benefits and you will be open, positive and able to build positive working relationships.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
