Cartmel, Cumbria, Full Time 5 Days over 7 on a rotation basis
£19-25K per annum DOE plus pension
South Lakes – PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCOMODATION WITH THIS POST.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie & a Junior Sous Chef to join our team in Cartmel, Cumbria (South Lakes) just outside Grange over Sands. As our Chef De Partie and Junior Sous Chef you will be very passionate about food as competition in the area is high with the famous Lenclume Restauraunt on our doorstep so you must really want a challenge!

We are a very bespoke 450 year old Coaching Inn in the Heart of Cartmel offering excellent British Food sourced from local produce, wines and traditional beers and ales. This charming retreat has a fine dining restaurant where diners dine by candlelight. We have a friendly relaxed service and very comfortable rooms.

• Preparing and serving high quality food.
• Working under the direction and instruction of our Head Chef and small dedicated staff team.
• To be able to step up to Chef in his absence.
• Handling the preparation and quality of meals.
• Training staff
• Basic kitchen management
• Enforcing Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations.
What experience do I need?

• 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role or someone who is looking to progress.
• A recognised qualification in culinary expertise.
Food Hygiene & Health & Safety trained.
• Time management
• Leadership skills
• Attention to detail.
